Terms of Service

I have the right to refuse a commission for any reason.Refunds for WIPs will NOT be issued once paid for UNLESS it has been 1 MONTH (30 days) since payment was made (2 months for more detailed artwork such as artwork that contains fullbodies of multiple characters or scenic art.)
_{Refunds will NOT be issued for COMPLETED ARTWORK under ANY circumstances.}Dissatisfaction with my completed work will not entitle you to a full refund.
_{I will keep you updated through the whole process and will ask for approval several times before the piece is complete and will fix any issues you have (to the best of my abilities).}Mature artwork will NOT be provided to minors.
_{Minors caught attempting to commission mature artwork will be blocked and blacklisted immediately. Refunds will not be issued if mature artwork is paid for. Seriously, if you are a minor (under 18 years of age), do not attempt to commission mature artwork from me.}If you trade away or completely redesign the character you are commissioning art of and you have already paid/I am over 75% done, I may attempt edits to the design, however you are not entitled to a refund.
_{Please don't commission artwork of a character you might trade in a week.}Art commissioned from me may add value to your character, but ONLY the price YOU paid for the piece, regardless of future price changes/sales etc.
_{If you paid $20 for a piece, it adds $20 of value to your character, even if that same style piece eventually costs $100 to commission.}All art created by me, commissioned or not, still belongs to me.
_{I have the right to use art commissioned from me in personal portfolios, advertisements, etc. I will never claim ownership of characters in commissioned artwork. I will never directly profit off of commissioned artwork other than the initial commission itself.}You may under no circumstances remove my watermark. You must credit me (@lumigloom) anywhere my artwork is posted on social media.You may not use commissioned artwork for merchandise without permission.

Process

All prices are in USD.Payments must be made using PayPal ONLY for now.Payment is expected in full once I have sent a sketch you approve of. We can discuss payment plans for expensive pieces. After that, a refund will not be made unless it has been over 30 days since you paid the FULL price (60 for more detailed pieces.)You must have a clear reference of your character. If reference isn't very clear please be able to provide additional images and/or descriptive words to help me properly depict your character.If you have no image reference of your character, your piece will be considered a custom. Please note I do not always have customs open.I will regularly update you as I progress on the art. You will be able to request changes and fixes during this time.Once artwork is complete you will not be refunded. If dissatisfaction with the art is an issue, we will discuss fixes.Should you receive a refund due to my failure to complete the artwork in time, you may keep whatever sketch or updated image I sent. However, that piece may not be used to add value to your character.

Also note that prices may vary based on character complexity (usually an upcharge of $5).Prices are generally based on the estimated amount of time these pieces take me, and the hourly minimum wage of California.
